Sylvince has been on the comedy scene since 2004 and has been on Def Comedy Jam and other stages all over the world from London to Paris to Toronto. Brooklyn born Haitian Sylvince has a unique sense of comedy that brings his cultural experiences and everyday American living to the world.. He took his comedy to another level when he became abstinent 7 years ago, which created mental clarity and and gave him more time to focus on his passion of making people laugh . He then decided to start to live a healthy lifestyle and became a vegan in 2007. Along with the vegan lifestyle he decide to take up boxing and lost weight. His black friends thought that he was dying from a disease, while his white friends thought it was good of him to make a change. In January 2010 when Haiti was devastated by the earthquake Sylvince was there to help by giving the clothes off his back to aid the people of Haiti and encouraged others to do the same.
Sylvince is the founder of Short Cuts Film Festival with NBC which started in 2005. It's goal is to display and celebrate diversity in entertainment. Short Cuts features talent across all genres including COMEDY, DRAMA, HORROR, and SCI-FI. The deadline to hand in submissions is July and the Film Festival is to be held in New York and LA later this fall.

Club Nylons is filled with vibrant characters that bring you into a world that some may know or may not know.
Reggie White Jr as "James" and Chimere Polk as "Flossy"
Characters such as “Kenzo” played by Vincent M. Ward, the crip walking gangster who frequents the club and is an integral part of the story. “Raquel” played by Donisha Brumfield a hardworking, feisty, singing bartender with a voice that can rival any singer out there yesterday, today and tomorrow.
To create a little humor “Clarence” played by Danny De Lloyd and his stuttering running buddy “ Lamont” played by Wallace Demarria are patrons that add texture to Club Nylons. The double casted role of “Juicy” played by Kisha Simone and Rhonda Morman both equally great talents is the voice of reason in the club.
“Flossy” played by a stellar up and coming actress, Chimere Polk goes from dancing to much more than she bargained for. Polk makes you feel for her character whether you approve of her lifestyle or not.
There are light moments such as dancing lady bugs, snack pack specials and Mr. Carter jumping over the moon that leaves you wanting more.
With notable appearances by smooth talking host Chad Decatur who prepares you for the experience before the play begins. And mood creator Cedric Lilly who plays the piano throughout the course of the play to accent the highs and lows.
From the set design to music selection Brandi Burks sets herself apart from other playwrights by her colorful story telling.
